Im doing GCSE Art and am currently working on a project called \'how we see me\' where i\'m exploring my image from different points of view, including my own slightly distorted view of me and my insecurities. You\'re art is beautiful and I would love to use it for my critical study. Just wondering why you titled a set of your art self portraits as Pele Goddess of Fire? Being of Hawaiian ancestry I find it to be offensive. Why would you name it after a very important and very well respected goddess? It is very rare for Hawaiian people to name their own children after a god or goddess. Your pictures are nice but at the same time do not at all portray her in any way. Have you done any research on her at all? or on our culture?
